La Flor Negra

Mezcal, tequila, and hibiscus…what more could you want? Try this vibrant cocktail alone or level it up by mixing up our Black Lava Rose Salt for a unique salt garnish! Find the method below the cocktail recipe.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Silver Tequila
  • 1 oz. Mezcal
  • .75 oz. Hibiscus Syrup
  • .75 oz. Lime Juice
  • .5 oz. Giffard Au Piment d'Espelette
  • Top with Soda Water

Method

Combine all ingredients in a shaker, except soda water, fill the shaker halfway with ice, and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into Collins glass swiped with Black Lava Rose Salt. Then, top with fresh ice and soda water. Finally, garnish with lime wheel and candied hibiscus flower.

Black Lava Rose Salt:

1 tbsp. Black Lava Salt
6 Dried Rose Petals
5 Pink Peppercorns

Method:
Take one tablespoon of black lava salt, 6 dried rose petals, and 5 pink peppercorns. Blend in blender or grind with mortar and pestle until peppercorns and rose petals are fine.
