1. Scramble Sour
Named after the popular golf format where players form teams and choose the best shot, the Scramble Sour is a refreshing twist on the classic whiskey sour. It’s the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and a touch of bitterness, making it an ideal companion for a day on the course.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz. Bushmills Original
- 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
- .5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- .5 oz. Real Vanilla Syrup
- 2-3 Dashes Cardamom Bitters
- Egg White (optional but highly suggested)
Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker tin with ice and hard shake for 10-12 seconds. Double strain into a glass and garnish with a trimmed lemon peel.
2. Tall and Smooth
When the sun is shining and the fairways stretch out before you, there’s nothing quite like a refreshing tall drink to keep you cool and focused. The Tall and Smooth cocktail combines the sweetness of lychee with the zing of ginger, creating a drink that’s as smooth as your swing.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz. Brugal Extra Dry Rum
- .75 oz. Barrow’s Intense Ginger
- .5 oz. JF Haden’s Lychee
- .75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- .5 oz Honey Syrup
- Q Club Soda
Method: Add all ingredients (except Soda) to a shaker tin with ice and hard shake for 10-12 seconds. Strain into a glass over fresh ice and top with chilled Q Club Soda. Garnish with a skewered lychee ball and mint bouquet.
3. The Turn
In golf, “the turn” refers to the halfway point of a round, where players transition from the front nine to the back nine or stop at the clubhouse. After perfecting your swing, indulge in a celebratory cocktail while escaping the heat. “The Turn” is a whiskey-forward cocktail with decadent chocolate flavors balanced with the essence of orange.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz. Four Roses Small Batch
- .5 oz. Shanky’s Whip
- .25 oz. DeKuyper Dark Crème De Cacao
- .25 oz. Cinnamon Syrup
Method: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir until thoroughly chilled/diluted. Strain into a glass over fresh ice and garnish with a pop of orange expression, trimmed orange peel, and a chocolate Pocky stick.
